Order Type Development

You have now completed the steps to fully develop an order type. At the beginning of this chapter, order type EXX1-Extreme Expense Order Type was shown in its beginning stages (in Figure 11-1). An order type ID can be created and saved as a placeholder with no additional configuration. As stated earlier, and as shown throughout this chapter, order type configuration is an iterative process. Plan, budget, and status profiles must all be created prior to assignment to the order type. Each step has some iterative development as well. All of this needs to be completed prior to the start of setting up the order type. After this we can then finally create an internal order.
