Controlling Area Maintenance for Internal Order Accounting

As for each module in Controlling, you must activate Internal Order Accounting for the controlling area prior to beginning development. We covered how to activate the proper indicators in Chapter 8, “Controlling Enterprise Structure,” but you can review Figure 11-2 for a refresher. As you can see, both order management and commitment management are active for the controlling area. The benefits of commitment management become evident later in the chapter.

Once you are satisfied with your controlling area settings, let’s move on to the next section.
