Controlling Area/Profit Center Accounting Maintenance
If Profit Center Accounting is active within your controlling area, as it is within Extreme Sports’s EX01, you must first create a standard hierarchy and assign a dummy profit center. (We’ll further discuss hierarchy development in Chapter 13, “Profit Center Accounting.”) Before proceeding, be sure to set the controlling area to the one you will be maintaining. To do so, follow the IMG menu path Enterprise Controlling Profit Center Accounting Basic Settings Controlling Area Settings Maintain Controlling Area Settings or use transaction code OKE5.
