Summary
This chapter is probably one of the most important chapters that we will cover in CO configuration. Within this chapter, we developed the foundation for the entire CO structure. All other chapters from this point forward will use the configuration discussed here. It may be necessary, as you get further into the system development, to revisit some of the topics covered in this chapter for additional configuration and specific unique parameters.
Much of the SAP configuration is trial and error. It is not uncommon to develop two or three controlling areas or operating concerns before the right mix of settings is found.
