Financial Statement Versions

Financial statement versions group together related accounts into balance sheet and income statement format for financial reporting purposes. SAP uses the financial statement version assigned to the company code when preparing the standard balance sheet and income statement reports in the system. The grouping in your financial statement version may or may not correspond to the account groupings that were configured earlier. You can assign accounts from different account groups in the same hierarchy nodes (groupings) in the financial statement version.
