Accounts Payable (A/P) is the first subledger that we’ll discuss in this book. The A/P module is tightly integrated with the Materials Management (MM) module, the Treasury module, and the Accounts Receivable (A/R) module. The A/P module allows you to manage the most complex of A/P transactions. With SAP’s A/P system, a company can easily manage its payables to provide the maximum cash discount and available cash position on its liabilities.
