Ambient colour A value of a material that suggests the colour (hue) it displays when not directly illuminated, it suggests the effect of bounced, indirect, light in a scene.

Ambient light A general level of non-directional illumination suggesting (but not exactly calculating) the effect of bounced light in a scene. The level for ambient light can be set in the rendering module/engine. The notable effect is normally detected in the shadows in a scene.

Array A number of copies of a single, original object, generated to form a pattern or specified arrangement.

Aspect ratio The ratio of the height of an image (or any rectangular form) to its width (height/ width). The normal aspect ratio for computer images is 1.33, hence, for example, ...
