Documenting Evidence
Having completed our initial processing run on the evidence, we can now begin answering more of the questions for the case study. Getting in the habit of documenting the details of our case and the state of the system at the outset of the case is a good practice as it provides a framework for the investigation. With these initial questions answered, moving on to answering the allegations in the case gives you a solid foundation to work from. It is better to be in the habit of noting items as you find them than to have to try and remember everything at some later date.
