About the Author
Nader F. Mir received the B.Sc. degree (with honors) in electrical and computer engineering in 1985 and the M.Sc. and PhD degrees, both in electrical engineering, from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1990 and 1994, respectively.
He is currently a full professor and associate chairman of the Electrical Engineering Department at San Jose State University, California. He is also the director of MSE Program in Optical Sensors for Lockheed Martin Space Systems.
