5.1 INTRODUCTION

Analyzing a computational solution represents an integral part in the use of CFD. In Chapter 4, some basic discretization techniques are introduced to allow the reader to familiarize with common methodologies of converting the governing partial differential equations into a system of algebraic equations. This system of algebraic equations is subsequently solved through numerical methods to provide approximate solutions to the governing equations.
