Physical security is an area that is often overlooked when designing security for an environment. However, without physical security, there is no security. As you prepare for the Security+ exam, don't overlook the aspects and elements of physical security. As a security professional, you need to reduce the overall opportunities for intrusions or physical security violations to occur. This can be accomplished using various mechanisms, including prevention, deterrence, and detection.
