Chapter 7. Security
The Security domain covers approximately 22 percent of the A+ 220-802 exam. As a PC technician, you’re expected to be aware of common prevention methods used to protect IT resources against security threats. This objective includes security best practices to secure a workstation and proper methods of destroying or disposing of resources in such a way that unauthorized individuals cannot access them. You’re also expected to know how to secure both wireless and wired networks used in small offices and home offices.
