Summary
This chapter introduced you to mobile devices in general and specifically to two popular mobile platforms in Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android. The primary concepts demonstrated in the course of this chapter included the basic features of the two operating systems, how to establish network connectivity and configure email clients, how to secure these mobile devices, and how to synchronize mobile devices with conventional computer systems. The differences and similarities between tablets and laptops were also discussed.
