Summary
In this chapter, you read about various display technologies and settings. The primary categories of video display unit were mentioned and explained: CRT, LCD, LED, OLED, plasma, and projector. Concepts unique to each of these categories were explored. Additionally, the similarities among them were highlighted. We identified names and characteristics of display resolutions and explained the process of configuring settings such as resolution, refresh rate, and multimonitor support in Windows.
