fast page mode RAM (FPM)

An older type of DRAM that measures its speed in nanoseconds of delay. Typical of SIMMs.

fiber-optic cable

A type of cable consisting of thin flexible glass fiber surrounded by a rubberized outer coating. Uses an ST or SC connector.

File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
