In this chapter, you learned about personal computer components, specifically storage devices, power supplies, input devices, and adapter cards. We covered storage devices, such as hard drives, both conventional and solid state; floppy drives; optical drives; tape drives; and flash memory. We discussed power supply safety, as well as the various connectors and formats, and investigated the similarity between power supplies and AC adapters.
