10-Gigabit Ethernet   A group of standards that operates at speeds of up to 10 Gbps in full-duplex mode over either copper (10GBaseT) or fiber. Two of the fiber standards of 10-Gigabit Ethernet are 10GBaseSR, used in fiber-optic LANs, and 10GBaseSW, used in fiber-optic WANs. (14)
