In the drive to do more with less, virtualization and cloud computing have become two important tools for organizations of all sizes. With virtualization, a single laptop, desktop, or server can be used to run two or more different operating systems at the same time. Cloud computing can be used for everything from providing “just-in-time” reserve capacity for peaks in Internet traffic and data to a full-time development and deployment environment. However, users also need to be familiar with the many services that network servers and other devices already provide.
