Chapter 18. OS X and Linux

Although OS X and Linux operating systems are far less common on organizational desktops than Windows, OS X is very popular in educational markets and Linux runs many of the world’s servers. To be a well-rounded computer technician, you need to understand how these operating systems differ from Windows and from each other and be able to perform basic commands and maintenance procedures.
