Programmers who must debug OPM code can use the ILE interactive debugger as well or they may use the old OPM line-oriented debugger. This appendix describes the line debugger. A third debugger, ISDB, is not discussed here. It is also a full-screen debugger but, because the ILE interactive debugger can be used with OPM programs, it isn’t needed.
The Start Debug (STRDBG) command runs one of two debuggers over OPM programs.
STRDBG OPMSRC(*YES) invokes the ILE source debugger for an OPM program.
STRDBG OPMSRC(*NO) invokes the line-oriented debugger for an OPM program.
