INTERACTIVE TELEVISION

Interactive television (ITV) has always been difficult to define, and the latest developments in the technology, software, and organizational infrastructure have made it a more slippery concept. In evaluating the status of ITV in a convergent media world, we are really examining the status of interactive media in general or, at least, interactive video implementations. “Television” as an idea, and experience, is facing obsolescence due to the proliferation of mobile and personal media delivery platforms.
