At any given moment around the world, people are communicating. They are using different approaches, different styles, and different languages, but the desired result is the same . . . to understand and to be understood.

When we embarked on writing this book we felt overwhelmed by the vastness of communication issues. What should we include, and what should we omit? The topic is almost limitless.
