1. INTRODUCTION

Instructional strategies are the techniques of teaching used by a teacher either in isolation or in combination to facilitate learning by the students. Each teaching strategy is suitable for a particular lesson or segment of the lesson. During the planning phase of teaching (lesson planning), the teacher should decide about the strategy that will be most suitable for the particular lesson to be taught.
