Abstract: Cultural values – a set of values governing a society – guide individuals’ behaviors and define optimal pathways for human development. As such, differences in cultural values generate variations in learners’ attitudes, practices, and achievement. This chapter addresses the connection of cultural values with human development including learning, and its increasing complexity in the current era.
