Collaboration

At its core, this book has been all about collaboration: the collaboration between media forms, the collaboration between comics and film, between comics and games, between comics and animation, between word and image. But it’s also been about the collaboration between creatives in different creative disciplines. Transmedia especially is a new breed of collaboration; it is different from a film, where a director must work with writers, cinematographers and grips to create a great project. In transmedia, the producer/lead creative must work with multiple media forms created by multiple people with different skill sets.
