COM+ Event Service
In a nutshell, the COM+ Event Service is a feature that is built into Windows 2000 and handles the task of connecting publishers and subscribers. As you can see in Figure 26.4, the COM+ Event Service brings into play the COM+ catalog that you've seen used in several different contexts throughout this book. In this context, the COM+ catalog is 1being used to provide the database seam expounded upon in the previous section.
