MSMQ Administration

MSMQ administration is accomplished through the MSMQ Explorer or the Active Directory Manager in domains with Active Directory support. The MSMQ Explorer provides a graphical display of the MSMQ enterprise and allows administrators to create and configure sites and servers within the enterprise. Modern MSMQ systems leverage the Active Directory and the Microsoft Management Console, although older NT 4–based implementations use SQL Server and an MMC look-alike designed specifically to support MSMQ.
