MSMQ Clients

MSMQ client machines use queue managers to send and receive messages. The MSMQ queue manager is implemented as a background service running on all independent client computers and servers. Queue managers communicate with queue servers when sending and receiving public queue messages. Private queues are maintained by the queue manager itself and are usually available only to applications running on the queue manager's machine. Dependent clients do not run the MSMQ queue manager service and must be synchronously connected to a server in a site with an operational PSC to function.
