Monitoring Transactions

The Component Management Console supplies transaction monitoring facilities, called To Whom It May Concern, to aid administrators and developers in tracking transaction execution times and in balancing transaction loads across several servers (see Figure 17.3). The Transaction List view provides a list of the in-doubt transactions that are operating on the current machine. In-doubt transactions occur when some element of the transaction framework, such as a remote database, stops responding. You can right-click these problem transactions in the Transaction List to manipulate them.
