OBJREF Moniker

To allow clients to establish connections to an object already running on a remote server, CIS provides a new type of simple moniker known as the OBJREF moniker. This moniker provides a simple mechanism for embedding references to remote objects in an HTML page.

OBJREF monikers represent references to local or remote objects running on a distributed system. The OBJREF moniker represents a particular running instance on a particular server. If the object instance terminates, the OBJREF moniker is invalid.
