The two great elements of this project are the fabulous range of colors and the contrast between the structured and organic shapes. When drawing subjects that are symmetrical, like this glass, it is important to keep your lines precise and unwavering. Take your time when defining the edges and rim of the glass so the shape stays accurate. On the other hand, you should draw the ice cubes and fruit in a looser, more organic manner. You are free to change the shapes, add another cherry—whatever suits your artistic vision.
