TRACING AND TRANSFERRING

At the beginning of each project, you’ll find a line drawing of the subject that you can photocopy, enlarge, and transfer to your drawing paper. (If you would rather freehand the subject, feel free to do that instead!) Keep in mind that the lines are much darker in this book for reproduction purposes; you should draw your lines very lightly so you can erase them as you start to apply color. There are three main ways to transfer a drawing, which I’ll discuss here.
