Before we start looking at how to calibrate and profile displays, scanners, digital cameras, and printers in the next few chapters, we first need to build our skills at analyzing and testing image and print quality. In this chapter we will start looking at our images and prints for the inevitable problems they might have and opportunities for improving them.
