It’s easy to take color for granted. Color is a constant part of our lives. We know the stop sign is red, the grass is green, and that water is blue. Color is so present in our daily walk that most of us barely recognize its power as a visual cue. It’s there, though, and it is powerful. Whether subtle or dominating, color is one of the core elements of our visual language, and photographers who pay attention to existing color and how they use it in their images harness that power.
