Adam Jared Apt, CFA, is the proprietor of Peabody River Asset Management LLC, a private wealth management company in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which he founded recently after 21 years in investment management. He is secretary of the Boston Map Society and has published a number of articles on the history of the cartography of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. He received his B.A. in astronomy from Amherst College, a D. Phil. in modern history from Oxford University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
