07.13 Create a Floating DataTip

Floating DataTips are great for having information available where you want it. This tip shows how you use them. First, enter Break Mode, and pause your mouse pointer over a variable in the current scope; you should see something like the following:

Click the pin to create a pinned DataTip (see vstipDebug0005, 07.12 Pin a DataTip to Source Code, on page 305). Now, to make it a floating tip, put your mouse over the pinned tip until you see the control panel shown in the following illustration.
