Until now, we mostly used single images for each sprite and imported them individually. This is sufficient for our purpose, but later, when the game becomes bigger, it is better to use spritesheets. A spritesheet is a bigger image file that has all the images of the game in it. This makes the life of the processor a lot easier as it would just need to fetch this one image file once and store the individual images in it in the memory. Also, you can recall them whenever you want instead of fetching the smaller images each time you call for it.
