Apple-Provided Documentation

Apple provides developer documentation with the standard Mac OS X Developer Tools. The best place to start looking for answers to specific questions is in the Apple documentation. Search tools such as Apple’s own Sherlock as well as MTLibrarian (http://www.montagetech.com/MTLibrarian.html can be used to search the documentation.)

Apple updates the developer documentation from time to time, and the latest version is available on their Web site at http://developer.apple.com/techpubs/index.html. Apple also provides an excellent search interface to these documents along with technical notes at http://developer.apple.com/search/search.html.
