Now the hard part begins: putting what you’ve learned from reading this book into practice every day. As I said earlier, growth as a leader is an ongoing, iterative process. It requires you to examine yourself on a continual basis, to be honest with yourself, and to be committed to your own development. Sometimes you will fail and make mistakes. That’s okay. What’s important is to understand why you made the mistake so that you can learn how to be different the next time you encounter a similar situation.
