Be Authentic:Work According to Your Values

“Can you name your two most important core values?” I ask this question in workshop after workshop, and it’s amazing to me how many people are not in touch with themselves and can’t come up with an answer.

Leadership develops from within, and it grows through a process of self-discovery. Integrated leaders know who they are and what they want. They understand themselves well and honor their own core values. These values anchor them as they move through their careers, guiding them in everything they do.

Yet in this busy, fast-paced world, people often feel overwhelmed with their workloads and don’t think they have the time to reflect on themselves.
