Goals
The goals of this experience are to
teach participants the importance of active listening
allow participants to practice effective communication behaviors
explore the differences between one-way and two-way communication.
Materials
The materials needed for this structured experience are
writing instruments
blank paper for drawing
one copy of Handout 12–1 and Handout 12–2 (pages 157 and 158) for each pair of participants.
