Choosing the Content

Any of the content modules in this book can be used for half-day training sessions. Select the modules based on the needs assessment of the participant group. If the participant group does not have an identified set of assessed needs (an assessment was not completed or an open registration process is being used), select the modules based on the competencies the organization seeks to develop.

The entire curriculum contained in this book can be offered in a series of half-day sessions. The order of certain topics should be considered when selecting which content will be offered first. As noted in the previous chapter, the “What Is Coaching?” and “Coaching Self-Assessment” modules should be offered early in the training process. ...
