Instruments for Evaluation in This Workbook

Chapter 11 of this workbook includes three instruments that lend themselves to applications of evaluating training. The first two can also be used in training designs.

  • Assessment 11–2: Coaching Self-Assessment. This tool calls for coaching training participants to analyze their strengths and developmental needs. The instrument can be used not only as prework for an initial training module but also as a repeat measure either at the end of the session or sometime afterward.

  • Trainer Competencies. This form, which is part of Assessment 11–2, lets you establish learning priorities for your own development. It can be used at any time, and you can use it to solicit feedback from trainees, either at the end ...
