Organizing External Coaching for the MVP
As we have seen in earlier chapters, MVPs receive coaching from a variety of sources, both formal and informal, both inside the organization and out. In this chapter, I will be narrowing my focus to consider the coaching of MVPs by external coaches. How do organizations typically choose external coaches to meet the needs of their MVPs? How do they make sure that the aims of coaches are aligned with the aims of the organization? How are coaches matched with MVPs? And once coaching begins, what might the process look like?
