DO OR DO NOT

       If you think you can do a thing, or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.

Trying is a ridiculous waste of time. As Yoda of the movie Star Wars said, “Do or do not. There is no try.” He was right. If you don’t believe this wise old character, here is an exercise that will prove it to you. Put a pencil on a table in front of you. Now try to pick it up. Do you have the pencil in your hand? If you do, you failed the exercise. I said try to pick it up, but you successfully picked up the pencil. You did it. You didn’t try. Trying, by definition, implies that it isn’t done. So stop trying and either do or do not.
