Even if you’re just trying to improve one or two small processes, being clear about your goals and having an explicit plan for how you will measure progress against those goals will improve your overall chances of success. In this chapter, we’ll talk about various aspects of setting goals and some aspects of measuring against them that you may not have seen before.
