Introduction

Documentation is essential in all software projects: for users, to explain how to obtain and build the code and to illustrate how to use your code or library effectively, and also for developers, to describe the internal details of your library and to help other programmers get involved with and contribute to your project. This chapter will show how to use CMake to build code documentation, using two popular frameworks: Doxygen and Sphinx.
