Exporting your targets

The code for this recipe is available at https://github.com/dev-cafe/cmake-cookbook/tree/v1.0/chapter-10/recipe-03 and has a C++ example. The recipe is valid with CMake version 3.6 (and higher) and has been tested on GNU/Linux, macOS, and Windows.

We can imagine that our message library has been a huge success in the open source community. People like it a lot and use it in their own projects to print their messages to screen. Users particularly like the fact that each printed message gets a unique identifier.
