In 1998 I was introduced to the late Peter Drucker by a close mutual friend. Drucker was one of the twentieth century’s great thinkers and is considered by many to be the father of modern-day management. I recall so vividly my first encounter with Drucker in person. We were in a booth at a small Italian restaurant in his hometown of Claremont, California. I had come prepared with numerous questions to ask and was more than a bit starstruck at the idea of sitting across the table from this brilliant mind.
