Cloud hardware security module

Cloud hardware security module (HSM) is a device that processes encryption operation and stores the encryption keys.

With HSM, you can perform the following operations:

  • Generating, storing, importing, exporting, and managing the encryption keys, and also storing symmetric and asymmetric keys
  • The encryption of data using symmetric and asymmetric keys
  • Cryptographic hash functions to compute message digests and hash-based message authentication codes (HMACs)
  • Generating random data for cryptography using a pseudo-random number generator
